TENDER INVITATIONS
- On the right to joint construction and operation of multi-channel cable television networks in Minsk City within the framework of creation of the Minsk City Cable TV and Telecommunication Networks
- On the right to design, build and operate a municipal wastes treatment plant in Minsk City
The Committee for Economy of the Minsk City Executive Committee is hereby invites to take part in tender of investment project on the right to joint construction and operation of multi-channel cable television networks in Minsk City within the framework of creation of the Minsk City Cable TV and Telecommunication NetworksThe project is an integrated fibre optic coaxial network with the capacity of at least 60 analogue and 240 digital channels and with television network coverage of 600,000 subscribers.
The supposed commissioning deadline of the project is January 1, 2010.
- Basic tender conditions:
Financing of the designing, construction and operation of the project to the total sum of at least USD 60 million within 2003-2010 period.- Complete commissioning of the project by January 1, 2010.
- Establishment of a joint legal entity with the Minsk City Executive Committee for designing, construction and operation of the project, the share of municipal-owned property being at least 50,1 %, in the form of real estate, the newly created engineering infrastructure and the existing television networks.
The winner will be the bidder, whose business plan meets the tender conditions and has advantages over other bidders.
The tender is to be held on July 15, 2003 at the address: Office 211, 8 F. Skoriny Ave., Minsk.The Investment Department of the Committee for Economy of the Minsk City Executive Committee is in charge of informing potential bidders of the tender conditions and issuance of a complete set of tender documentation.

The deadline for reception of applications accompanied by sets of tender offers from the bidders shall be two days before the date of the tender.
The Committee for Economy of the Minsk City Executive Committee is hereby invites to take part in tender of investment project on the right to design, build and operate a municipal wastes treatment plant in Minsk City
The tender of investment projects is held in relation to a site placed in the municipal land in an immediate proximity to the solid domestic wastes dump, now under construction. The site is located in the 14th kilometre of the Minsk - Mogilyov motor road, 1.8 km away in the north-east direction from the motor road. The construction is made under the Plan of Functional Development of the Minsk City Territory.
The supposed commissioning term of the site is before January 1, 2007.
- Basic tender conditions:
The treatment technology of solid domestic wastes shall account for the peculiarities of communal wastes of Minsk City and shall not be inferior to the requirements for treatment of such wastes stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.- Financing by the bidder of design works, construction and operation of the plant under the proposed technology.
- Handing over to the Belarusian party of the design document on production equipment and steel structures to be installed at the plant.
The winner will be the bidder, whose business plan meets the tender conditions and has advantages over other bidders.
The tender is to be held on September 19, 2003.
